CMR Study on Millennials and Social Commerce Featured in Recent Huffington Post Article

The Center for Marketing Research at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth was recently featured in a Huffington Post article for their study on Millennials and Social Commerce. The study details the significance of Millennial’s role in the growth of e-commerce and how social media outlets, such as Facebook, Twitter, and especially Pinterest are increasingly used by this generation to learn about brands, interact with them, and ultimately purchase their products, after viewing them on social media sites. We are likely to see more brands jumping on the social media band (or should we say “brand”) -wagon, as it doesn’t look like this trend will be going away any time soon. Brands are starting to see the great opportunity in using social media for their marketing efforts, and it can only get bigger from here.
