Tired of Searching Through Tweets? Topsy May Have the Solution

Happy Thursday everyone! Topsy, an analytics company based in San Francisco has indexed Twitter’s public tweets as far back as 2006 in order to create a “social search” to search through archived tweets. Facebook and Google have not yet been able to develop a search for social data such as tweets, however Topsy does have a few competitors, including DataSift and Gnip. Topsy’s goal is to become the “Google of Twitter search” which will allow anyone to find social data including tweets, photos, links and videos.
