Why Ty Law as our Celebrity Speaker? We’ll Tell You!

The Center for Marketing Research (CMR) at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth is proud to announce former New England Patriots star Ty Law will be the celebrity speaker at their 13th Annual Celebrity/Scholarship Dinner on April 10, 2013 at the Venus de Milo Restaurant in Swansea, MA.

Tajuan “Ty” Law is a retired National Football League cornerback who played for the New England Patriots since being drafted 23rd overall in the first round of the 1995 NFL draft. In 2001, he won his first Super Bowl with the Patriots and later went on to win two more Super Bowls Championships with the Patriots in 2003 and 2004. In 2011, Law was honored at The Tradition at TD Garden with the Football Legacy Award. He explains, “No matter what uniform I ever played in, I’m going to always bleed the red, white and blue. I’m a Patriot until I die.” So why Ty Law? The answer: for that very statement he made. We welcome the vibrancy and dedication Law has toward the Patriots and for this region. The opportunity to have him as our celebrity speaker is truly an honor and we hope you can be a part of this exceptional event to help us welcome a true football legend!

All guests will enjoy a full-course dinner at 6:00pm and will have the opportunity to hear Ty Law speak about his life and career experiences. He will also take questions from the audience.

You can be a part of this unique event in a number of ways. Buy tickets for yourself or any sports fan, donate a scholarship and take the stage with Mr. Law as he awards the scholarships to recipients, or purchase an ad in the Keepsake Program Book. Dinner tickets are $75 each ($750 for a table of 10). Pictures will be available for purchase and autographed by Law. There will be a silent auction of autographed Ty Law football memorabilia at the dinner and photo opportunities will be available.
