Google Doodle: Make Your Own Turkey

Happy day before Thanksgiving everyone! Starting yesterday afternoon Google got a head start on its Thanksgiving Day celebration by adding its newest Google Doodle.

In this year’s doodle, you’ll see a “hand turkey” drawing that is a traditional Thanksgiving arts and craft project. The drawing features our feathered friend draped in colorful wigs, feathers, and shoes which move as you run your cursor over them. When you click on each extremity it changes into a variety of outfits or you can click on the turkey’s wing and just like a slot machine, an outfit is arranged on its own. Different accessories include a George Washington-like wig, a pirate’s pegleg, rollerskates and a blue winter cap.

There is a “G+ Share” option that allows you to share the doddle to your Google+ account (if you don’t have one it will prompt you to get one), or you can share it to any link you wish using the “Link” option. A Google spokesperson said, “if you get some of the combinations a certain way, some fun things happen!”

If you find out what the surprise is, let us know! We here at the CMR wish each one of you a safe and turkey filled day tomorrow! Until next week!
