Droid Strong. RAZR Sharp.

Happy Wednesday everyone. Hope you’re having a good week! This week’s fun article comes to you to present the announcement of the “world’s thinnest smartphone,” the Droid Razr!

The new Droid Razr is said to be released in early November, but you can begin pre-ordering on October 27th for a price of $299.99 with a 2-year contract with Verizon. You may be familiar with the old Motorola Razr back in 2005, but the name is now being revived! It will be the thinnest smartphone on the market at 7.1 mm thick, but don’t let its size fool you.

Running on the Android Gingerbread, the new Droid has a 1.2 GHz dual-core processor, a front-facing HD camera, 32GB of memory and 1GB of RAM, and an 8 megapixel rear-facing camera that takes 1,080HD video! Don’t be afraid of getting the 4.3-inch display screen scratched because the new RAZR is “made with Kevlar fiber for strength and Corning Gorilla Glass for scratch resistance.” There’s also a water repellent nanocoating that will help protect this spectacular phone against your every day spills. How else can this phone get any better!? Well… the RAZR will be the first smartphone that users can stream Netflix movies in HD resolution and not to mention, it will have ample battery life. The new Droid will allow its users to get 12.5 hours of talk time and almost 9 hours of video playback, says HuffPost Tech.

The phone seems to have all the bells and whistles, but will it be a hit or miss among customers? It’s still too soon to tell, but on the onset it seems very appealing with its new features. Will you consider purchasing this alluring new addition to the Droid family!?  Let us know what you think! Until next week everyone and thank you for reading!
