4th Annual Benchmarking Study, Inc. 500 Released

It’s an exciting week for the Center as we are pleased to announce the release of our 4th annual benchmarking study for the Inc. 500. The latest study continues with our look into the Inc. 500’s use of blogging, while taking a side look into the explosive growth into their use of Twitter and Facebook. We’ve found that eighty-three percent of these companies are active with Facebook, Twitter, blogging or other social media platforms. The study examined these institutions to quantify their adoption of social media tools. This is the fourth year that Nora Ganim Barnes, Ph.D., Director of the Center for Marketing Research, has tracked social media usage by this sector, and it is the only methodologically sound longitudinal study of its kind with every company in the Inc. 500 included.
